There are currently four levels of English as a Second Language (ESL) classes offered at Rosalie Rendu Center for adults. The goal of the ESL classes is to build the communication skills of all students so that they can comfortably read, write, and speak English.

All of the classes offered at the Center are focused on giving our students the confidence and skillset needed to fully integrate in the community, thus fulfilling the Center’s mission to break the cycle of poverty in East Palo Alto.

After completing the program at the Center, students are encouraged to further their studies at local community colleges (Sequoia Adult School, Canada College).

All classes are offered during the day and are free of charge. Students may register for classes by contacting the Center directly, during the first three weeks of August, to make an appointment to complete an assessment and registration. Space is limited; register early.

Supervised play in the Tot Spot is provided for young children (6 months-3 years) free of charge while their parents are taking ESL classes on site.

¿Listo para aprender inglés? Por favor llámenos al 650-473-9522 para más información y para hacer una cita para completar una evaluación y registrarse.
